FOR the first time since separation, Malaysia and Singapore may well be holding their respective general elections in the same year.
n Singapore, the ruling PAP has to manage the challenges wrought by a booming economy as inflationary pressures eat away at the HDB heartlanders’ well-deserved savings.
There’s also a burgeoning income gap as “foreign talents” (and visitors) enjoy the cosmopolitan pleasures of what is fast-becoming Asia’s leading elite lifestyle haven.
