MARCH 12 — Yesterday, Parliament rounded up the debate on the Committee of Supply estimates. Not surprisingly, the exchanges with backbenchers provided an opportunity for the People’s Action Party (PAP) Government to address hot-button issues such as housing and foreign workers. It also enabled the Government to showcase its plans for the country.
